Spezia have announced the signing of Orlando City fullback Joao Moutinho.

The 24 year-old will join Spezia as a free agent when his MLS contract expires at the end of the month.

Moutinho will pen a deal to 2025 with the Serie A outfit.

"As far as I know, the deal is concluded," Spezia coach Luca Gotti told Sky Italia.

“He played left-back in a four-man defence at Orlando City in recent years and did really well. I think he will need a little time to adapt to Serie A, but he has qualities that I like."
