Sheffield United winger Lys Mousset has signed for Salernitana for the rest of the season.

The creative star has completed his medical with the Serie A team, and will be hoping to play regular first team football.

A key reason for Mousset choosing to go to Salernitana is that he gets a chance to play with countryman Franck Ribery, who is at the tail end of his career.

Mousset is out of contract in the summer, and has not played for Sheffield United since Paul Heckingbottom was made manager two months ago.

The new boss was not happy with Mousset's fitness, even though he had been a regular under Slavisa Jokanovic.
