League OneRochdale have taken Jordan Williams on loan from Liverpool until January.

The 21 year old told iFollow: "I'm really excited that I've got the loan deal over the line and I'm looking forward to getting going.

"I played with Joe Rafferty a few times when he was at the Liverpool Academy and I've spoken to him about coming to Rochdale. Joe loves it here and he's told me that it's a great club to play for and that the lads are brilliant.

"I played for Swindon on loan a couple of years ago and I just want to get back out and play league football again, because you learn a lot more than playing for the under-23s."
