Rennes have announced the signing of Nemanja Matic from AS Roma.

The veteran midfielder, who just turned 35 years of age, moves to Rennes for a €3m fee.

Matic leaves Roma after one year, having arrived from Manchester United.

Matic made 50 competitive appearances for Roma last season, in which he scored two goals and provided three assists.
