Stoke City defender Tom Edwards has gone back to New York Red Bulls.

The 23-year-old came back to Stoke last December, having spent time with the Red Bulls on loan.

Now he is going back to America, after failing to make any impact on the Stoke first team in January.

According to the official Stoke website, Edwards will be with NY Red Bulls throughout the 2022 MLS season.

That means he will come back to Stoke in December 2022, when he is likely to contemplate his long-term future.
