Crystal Palace have sent Glenn Murray on loan to Championship club Reading.
The 31-year old striker has been loaned to the Royals until January following the arrival of Kevin Doyle on a short-term spell from Wolves.
Murray has struggled for form and fitness since returning from a knee injury in February following his 30-goal season in the Championship in 2012/13 which guided the south Londoners back to the Premier League.
