Mattia Destro is delighted to have returned to Genoa.
The Bologna striker has joined Genoa on-loan, having previously played for the club between 2010-13.
"I am absolutely ready to start again, I'm fired up and we all need a great second half to the season," Destro told reporters as he arrived for his medical.
“I'm here to save Genoa. We all have a common objective and are concentrated on achieving it."
It's been a busy 24 hours for Genoa, with Valon Behrami and Mattia Perin also arriving.
Destro added: “I already spoke to Perin, Stefano Sturaro and Mimmo Criscito on the phone. We'll have the medical first, then I'll get to see them in person at the training ground."
