Preston North End have confirmed the signing of promising Manchester United striker Will Keane.
The 22-year-old forward will spend the 2015/16 Championship campaign at Deepdale after signing a one-year loan deal, following in the footsteps of former Red Devils stars David Beckham and Danny Welbeck who also spent time with the Lilywhites.
Preston represents the third fourth loan club for Keane who has previous with Sheffield Wednesday, QPR and Wigan Athletic.
Speaking to Preston's official website, Keane said: “I'm really excited to be here and I am looking forward to the new season and the challenge ahead.
“I want to come here and do my best to help the team; they had a very successful year last year and hopefully the whole team and the Club can build on that.
“The likes of David Beckham and Danny Welbeck have been here and they all did well and benefited from the experience, so that is something I can hopefully come here and take from it."
Good luck to Will Keane as our young striker joins Championship club Preston North End on a season-long loan. #mufcpic.twitter.com/jMP7iyZNAN
