Manchester United's young midfielder Charlie Scott has joined Hamilton Academical on loan.

Scott has never featured for the first team, but he is a regular for the reserves.

United released a statement on its official website confirming the move, and it appears Hamilton Academical are delighted at getting Scott on a loan deal.

Hamilton boss Martin Canning said the following to the club's official website: "I am pleased to welcome Charlie to the club and believe he'll be a great addition to our squad."

Scott's best moment at United came in an FA Youth Cup game, where he scored an excellent goal against Chelsea in 2016.
