Liverpool have won the race to land PEC Zwolle teenager Sepp van den Berg.
The 17-year-old defender is due to have a medical with the Anfield club on Wednesday ahead of his £1.79million move, which should be completed by the end of the week.
Both Bayern Munich and Ajax were keen on Van den Berg, a Holland Under-19 international who is considered one of the brightest prospects in Dutch football.
But it is claimed that Liverpool have fought off the competition to secure his signature - and their first signing of the summer.
Reports suggest Van den Berg's first season on Merseyside will be spent bedding in, before he attempts to cement a place in Jurgen Klopp's first-team plans, says the Daily Mail.
