Las Palmas have snapped up José Gómez Campaña.

The free agent signs for Las Palmas to the end of the season with the option for another 12 months.

Campana came off contract at Levante last June and has been recovering from knee injury.

"Physically I feel good, little by little I am adapting to the workload in training," the midfielder said.

"As after any long-term injury, I need to pick up the pace in training and matches. I know where I come from and the difficulty of the injury.

“I want to feel like a footballer again.

“It is a gift that a club like Las Palmas offers you to return after almost a year without playing. It has come true. I face it with great enthusiasm."
