Sheffield United legend Billy Sharp has signed a deal with LA Galaxy.
The 37 year-old striker has penned a contract to the end of the MLS season with a 12 month option.
Sharp arrives after star forward Javier Hernandez was ruled out with an ACL injury. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker's season is now over.
Galaxy head coach and sporting director Greg Vanney said: "Billy is an accomplished striker who brings experience, leadership and proven goal-scoring pedigree.
"We are pleased to add a player of Billy's calibre to the team for the stretch run of the season."
