West Brom midfielder Craig Gardner has joined former club ChampionshipBirmingham City on loan until the end of the season.
The deal includes an agreement for a permanent transfer in the summer.
The 30-year-old midfielder spent 18 months at St Andrew's from January 2010 to June 2011.
He has played 85 times in three seasons for West Brom but just has made just nine appearances this season.
