Former Liverpool and Tottenham defender Steven Caulker has joined Dundee.

The Mirror says Caulker is joining Scottish Premiership side Dundee on a deal until the end of the season.

The centre-back, 26, is available on a Bosman after leaving Championship QPR in December.

He was in Turkey last week talking to clubs including representatives of the Chinese Super League.

But he has been convinced to join Dundee by boss Neil McCann during talks while visiting family in Scotland.
