DONE DEAL: Everton lose Evans to Paderborn

Everton have moved youngster Antony Evans along to SC Paderborn 07.

The attacking midfielder is signing permanently for the Bundesliga club.

Evans was out of contract at the end of the season, which means he would have left for free.

He never played a first team game for the Blues, having arrived at the club when he was only nine years old.

The 21-year-old was on loan at Blackpool and Morecambe recently.

Evans did manage nine goals for the under-23s at Everton in 18 games this season.

He will be hoping to kick start his career in Germany.

The move was officially confirmed by the SC Paderborn Twitter account.
