DONE DEAL: Crystal Palace nab Fryers from Tottenham

Crystal Palace have confirmed the capture of Ezekiel Fryers from Tottenham.

The Eagles have signed the 21-year old left-back on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee after he spent just 18 months with Spurs.

The former Manchester United youngster signed with Belgian side Standard Liege in August 2012 before heading to White Hart Lane in January 2013 but struggled to force his way into the first in north London.

Fryers, who is a product of United's youth academy, said that his move to Palace would help him take his game to the next level as well as pushing the south London club forward.

"I found out over the weekend from my agent that there was interest and I knew Crystal Palace were the best club for me at this time of my career," he told the club's official website.

"I am very excited to be here and it's a fresh start for me now. I can't wait to get out on the training pitch and show what I can do.

"I have met Neil Warnock this morning and we had a good chat about the game and things on and off the pitch. I am really looking forward to working with such a great manager and getting to know my new team-mates."
