Chelsea midfielder Luke McCormick has secured his short and long term futures.

The midfielder has not only signed a loan agreement with Shrewsbury Town for the 2019/2020 season, but he has also signed a new contract with Chelsea.

The 20-year-old has been with the Blues since the under-9 age group.

The touch tackler will go on loan with a view to developing his game and eventually fighting for a first team place at Chelsea.

He has a contract with the Blues until at least 2022.
