Cagliari have signed Inter Milan fullback Franco Carboni.

Carboni moves to Sardinia on a season-long loan with the option to buy.

Argentine youngster Carboni was expected to go on loan for the upcoming season after an impressive campaign with the Nerazzurri's Primavera team.

Several Serie A clubs had been in touch with Inter about Carboni, however Cagliari have won the race.

Cagliari are preparing for the new Serie B campaign after last season's relegation.
