Cagliari have signed AC Monza striker Andrea Petagna.

Petagna moves to Sardinia on a season-long loan with the option of a permanent transfer.

Should he impress, Cagliari can sign Petagna outright for €8m.

If all goes to plan, the striker will sign a contract next summer to 2027.

"Very happy for this new adventure. Forza Cagliari," said Petagna ahead of passing his medical at Cagliari yesterday.
