Bournemouth have signed Olympique Lyon midfielder Romain Faivre.
Faivre moves to the Cherries for €15m, but will spend the new season on-loan with Lorient.
Bournemouth owner Bill Foley recently bought a stake in the Ligue 1 club.
Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said: "It's great for the club to have secured such a talent in Romain.
"He's a player we've been monitoring for a number of years since his move to Brest, and we were particularly impressed with his progress while on loan at Lorient."
Lyon have also announced they retain a 15 per cent sell-on clause in the deal.
