Barcelona have announced the signing of Oriol Romeu from Girona.

The former La Masia graduate returns to Barca on a three-year contract, which carries a €400m buyout clause.

Romeu joins Barca for a fee of €3.4m.

The midfielder arrives to replace former captain Sergi Busquets, who has left for Inter Miami.

Romeu joined Xavi's Barca squad for training this morning.
