Doncaster Rovers boss Paul Dickov is convinced new signing Kiko Macheda will be a big hit at Keepmoat.
The Manchester United youngster completed an initial one month's loan move to Doncaster yesterday.
"The one I love about him is that he is hungry. He's desperate to succeed," he said.
"He's 22 now after he hit the scene with a bang when he was a teenager.
"He feels the last couple of years haven't gone as well as they could for him but you can tell from speaking to him that he's so determined to make this work, which is going to benefit us.
"His record over the last couple of years is slightly misleading because he's been at a couple of top clubs but not necessarily went there and played," he continued.
"I know from speaking to Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes that he's a top quality player and he's a finisher. He's also different to what we've got.
"Technically he's very good, he's got really good movement and he can hold the ball up, but we want to get him in the box because that's where he's at his best.
"He'll put pressure on Theo [Robinson], Browny and everyone else. It's competition for places.
"I've always said if we feel we can bring in quality it doesn't matter which position it's in because it puts pressure on the ones in there."
