Juventus captain Alessandro del Piero may've played his last game for Italy after he was ignored by coach Roberto Donadoni in the latest squad announcement.
Del Piero's teammate, Raffaele Palladino, won a first call-up for the crucial matches against Scotland and the Faroe Islands.
