Dominic Solanke struck his first goal for Chelsea U21s in their 3-1 win over Norwich City.
The striker helped England win the U17 Euros this summer and has been highlighted by manager Jose Mourinho as one to watch.
Blues coach Adi Viveash told the club's website: "Dominic got his first Under-21s goal and put in a real number nine performance with great movement and strength. Some of our play in the first half was exceptional and Lewis Baker really drove the game for us in midfield.
"Their midfield usually cause us problems and stifle the game but I thought we did very well in there today."
