Gold Coast United striker Bruce Djite was angry being targeted by the home fans during today's elimination final victory over Adelaide United.
The former Reds striker was jeered throughout the game and infuriated his former fans when tapping home a critical equaliser in the second-half.
"It was disappointing to hear that from the fans," Djite told Fox Sports.
"I didn't celebrate my goal because I have respect for the fans here. This club gave me my start and that's why I didn't celebrate.
"So to hear that (the boos) is disappointing."
