Socceroos coach Pim Verbeek has confirmed that Genclerbirligi striker Bruce Djite is a realistic chance for next month's World Cup qualifiers.

Verbeek has been travelling the world, monitoring players on his list and says former Adelaide United goal scorer Djite could be in his plans.

"Bruce is always on the list," Verbeek said last night.

"I'm going to make up my mind this coming weekend on whether he'll be part of the group.

"It's difficult at the moment."
