El-Hadji Diouf could stay with Doncaster Rovers if Dean Saunders' side can avoid the drop from the Championship. The controversial Senegal striker netted his fifth goal for Rovers from the penalty spot to secure a 1-1 draw with Brighton on Saturday.
Rovers remain rooted to the foot of the table but are five points from safety with two games in hand on fourth-bottom Bristol City.
Diouf told The Daily Star:
"I'm happy because I like playing football and we have a good gaffer who wants us to play with passion.
"I love football. It's my life. It's all I know because I've never worked. As long as I'm on the pitch, I'm happy." "Will I be here next season? It's definitely a possibility. First, let's stay up, then anything is possible. You never know.
