Dijon defender Ciman: I felt let down by Alderweireld

Dijon defender Laurent Ciman admits he remains angry with Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld over comments made after Euro2016.

The pair played at the back for Belgium and Ciman was questioned by Alderweireld for the goal scored by Emanuele Giaccherini in defeat to Italy.

Ciman recalled to Sport / Foot Mag: "I think the most important thing is respect. I always had it with my teammates. What bothers me is when it does not work both ways.

"For example, it's easy to point to Italy's first goal at Euro 2016. However, I think Toby also has some responsibilities in there. Did I say openly that it was his fault?

"No. Did he do it? Yes.

"I explained to him well that it was the last time that he spoke like that of me in the newspapers. And in fact, I think it's the last time he said my name in a newspaper."
