Diego Costa has made up mind on Chelsea…

Diego Costa has reportedly made up his mind regarding his Chelsea future.

Spanish publication AS reports that Costa is keen to return to Atletico Madrid this summer despite new Blues boss Antonio Conte urging him to stay in England.

The 27-year-old striker has been linked with a potential move back to the Vicente Calderon over the past few months with Atleti boss Diego Simeone reportedly telling the Spanish club to do everything they can to get him.

Costa is believed to be unhappy with the treatment he receives from the British press and would welcome a move back to the Spanish capital where he plundered 64 goals in 134 outings for Los Rojiblancos.

Simeone wants him badly and with Chelsea having signed Michy Batshuayi from Marseille, there is an opening for Costa to leave Stamford Bridge after two seasons, but the London club are adamant that he is not for sale.

However, with the player having reportedly made up his mind, there is the possibility that a shift back to La Liga could be on the cards especially as Atleti will be competing in the Champions League - something Chelsea cannot offer this season.
