Sacked Oldham Athletic boss Paul Dickov is being linked with Preston North End.

The Sun says he is believed to be on Preston's shortlist after Graham Westley's stormy reign came to an end yesterday.

However, Dickov will face competition from ex-Huddersfield boss Simon Grayson and Wycombe player-manager Gareth Ainsworth.
