Fulham will take a few weeks to decide on whether or not they will re-sign Mahamadou Diarra.
The 32-year old Malian midfielder was released by the Cottagers at the end of last season due to knee injuries after signing from Monaco in February 2012.
However, he is back training with Fulham with manager Martin Jol to run the rule over him as he continues to recover from the problems.
"He is doing a lot of ball work and the warm-ups with us," Jol told The Fulham Chronicle.
"He needs another three or four weeks before playing games with us or the reserves and then we will make a decision on him."
Throughout his career, Diarra has played with OFI Crete, Vitesse Arnhem, Lyon and Real Madrid.
