Davide di Michele is keen to play out his career at Lecce.
The 35-year-old striker scored the opening goal in Lecce's crucial 2-1 win at Sampdoria on Sunday.
That victory lifted Lecce out of the relegation zone with six games of the season remaining.
Asked about his own season, Di Michele said: "Right now I would give myself a seven and a half.
"I haven't played all the games because of injury. I enjoy playing.
"I'll give myself a 10 out of 10 if we survive. Not just me, but the entire team would deserve it too.
"I am happy here. I want to keep playing. I would stay here for life.
"We'll see but on a serious note, I'd like it. Lecce feels like home."
tribalfootball.com can reveal Di Michele was keen on moving to Australia last year - but was surprisingly ignored by A-League clubs when his representatives came knocking.
