Former Chelsea captain Marcel Desailly believes Jose Mourinho is unhappy with the balance of his squad. His side suffered their first defeat of the season at Everton on Saturday and have now made the club's worst start to a campaign in the Roman Abramovich era.
Desailly said: "Jose has had his hands tied. He has not been able to buy the players he wanted because Chelsea told him that Eden Hazard, Oscar, Juan Mata and Fernando Torres were the key players and he was not going to be able to change them.
"The fans are not going to enjoy this year because Mourinho will play very defensively."
