Former Chelsea captain Marcel Desailly has called on Blues players to start taking responsibility for their poor season.
Desailly believes the current crop should forget their differences with manager Rafa Benitez and start performing for the club.
He told The Sun: "It looks as if Benitez is complaining and the players are just waiting for him to go at the end of the season without performing. So there is a problem of collective responsibility.
"Even though the players know that Benitez won't stay they should try to have a positive attitude for the club as a whole and to help lift performances.
"Chelsea need to be in the Champions League next season and if you are a player you have to think positive."
