Championship club Derby County have turned down a £3million bid from Burnley for Jeff Hendrick, according to Sky Sports.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who impressed for the Republic of Ireland at Euro2016, still has two years left on his current deal with the Rams.
New Derby manager Nigel Pearson reportedly holds the midfielder in high regard and wants to keep him at the iPro Stadium for next season, which has prompted the rejection of the offer from Sean Dyche's Clarets.
