Derby County goalkeeper Stephen Bywater and defender Lewin Nyatanga have gone out on loan until the end of the season to Ipswich and Barnsley respectively, and both deals could result in permanent moves.

"There is a possibility if both players do well and the clubs like them and the players want to go but nothing is set in stone," said Rams boss Paul Jewell.

"Stephen has been injured for a while and Ipswich came in, so it was an opportunity for him to go out and play. It does not mean he is out of the picture."
