Derby land Ipswich keeper Price

Derby County have completed the signing of Ipswich Town goalkeeper Lewis Price.

The 23-year-old Wales international has put pen to paper on a three-year deal, becoming the Barclays Premier League newcomers' sixth summer signing.

Rams boss Billy Davies said: "Lewis is a young player with very good potential and I have signed him in the first instance to provide back-up and competition for our established goalkeepers."

Price came through the ranks at Portman Road and made his senior debut while still a teenager.

He made his international debut in 2005 against Cyprus and he has three Wales caps to his name.

He follows Robert Earnshaw, Andy Todd, Tyrone Mears, Claude Davis and Ben Hinchliffe to Pride Park this summer.
