Derby County manager Steve McClaren has stated that he is keen on keeping Tom Ince beyond the summer.
Ince joined Derby on loan from Hull City during the January transfer window and has been in wonderful form, scoring 10 goals in only 16 Championship appearances.
The 23-year old's fine form in front of goal has helped the Rams maintain their promotion charge and now manager McClaren has expressed his desire of keeping hold of the Hull outcast next season as well.
McClaren said: "I think he's been good for us and we've been good for him. I haven't spoken to Steve Bruce yet but we'd like to keep him.
"If we hadn't got Tom Ince and others in January we wouldn't be in the top six. He has scored goals and created them and is my type of player."
