Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper Gustavo Munua received a SIX MONTH jail sentence in the Spanish courts for his attack on rival Dudu Aouate earlier this month.
Marca says the Uruguayan was ruled to be the aggressor in the incident, however as Munua had no previous police record and given his standing in the La Coruna community, the judge ruled that instead of serving the sentence that he should pay a €3,600 (£2,200) fine.
The court ruling, however, is not the end of the matter for the two keepers. Depor coach Miguel Angel Lotina is refusing to involve either player in training until they offer public apologies for the clash.
