Departing Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum is on his way to Barcelona.

Wijnaldum's agent and lawyer were both in Barcelona yesterday for talks with Blaugrana officials.

The Holland midfielder is off contract next month and declared on Sunday plans to leave Liverpool.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported Wijnaldum has now committed to a three-year contract with Barca.

The Dutchman is now waiting on final details over the terms of the deal to be settled by his representatives. However, an announcement could be made within days.
