Former Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain wants to move to Aston Villa.

Per Football Insider, Oxlade-Chamberlain has talked to friends about moving to the Midlands club.

He is officially a free agent after the expiry of his Liverpool contract, as he seeks regular first team football.

The Ox could have remained at the Reds, but does not want to be a bit part player.

A move to Unai Emery's high flying Villa, who will play European football next season, is appealing.

Villa would be able to offer the former Southampton and Arsenal star plenty of game time.
