Departing AC Milan midfielder Samu Castillejo is in Spain ready to sign for Valencia.

The winger is set to be reunited with his former Milan coach Rino Gattuso at VCF.

He said this morning: "I have spoken with Gattuso, it is clear that thanks to him everything has been done much faster and I can be here today. When he arrives I am going to talk to him more calmly, but you all know him as a player, he is a winner and has a great mentality.

"I am very happy to arrive here, I was about to to arrive in January and I have done everything in my power to get here."

The 27 year-old midfielder is currently undergoing his medical today.
