Departed Tottenham midfielder Mason eyeing Hull City home debut against Arsenal

Ryan Mason is looking to make an immediate impact for new club Hull City when he makes his home debut.

The midfielder joined the Tigers for Tottenham Hotspur for a club-record £13million on deadline day and has quickly picked out a potential KCOM Stadium bow against his former club's arch nemesis on September 17.

"Arsenal was a local derby for my old team and I was part of a few good results against them so hopefully that can carry on with Hull," Mason told the club's official website.

"I can't wait to play at the KCOM Stadium. I played there with Spurs a couple of seasons ago and it was a great place to play with a fantastic pitch.

"Our home form is going to be important and I'm looking forward to playing in front of the fans there."

Former Swindon Town, Millwall and Doncaster Rovers loanee Mason, 25, is expected to make his Hull debut against Burnley at Turf Moor on September 10.
