Denmark and Bulgaria share points with Liverpool's Agger on target

Daniel Agger scored a second-half equaliser for Denmark as they forced a 1-1 draw with Bulgaria in Copenhagen tonight.

The Liverpool defender slotted home a 63rd minute penalty into the bottom right corner after Andreas Cornelius was felled by Ilia Milanov to allow the Danes to remain fourth in Group B.

Six minutes into the second half, Bulgaria took the lead through Stanislav Manolev, on loan at Fulham from PSV, who fired home Aleksandar Tonev's leftwing cross.

However, Denmark rallied to equalise and now sit four points behind the second-placed Bulgarians who are three points in arrears of group leaders Italy.
