Denis Suarez says Celta Vigo need to regroup after just beating the drop.

Celta drew 0-0 with Espanyol and if Leganes had beaten Real Madrid they would have gone down.

"We did something bad, no doubt about it, when we've suffered so much, we should learn and correct our errors," said Denis.

"From the pitch to the offices we all want a great Celta, and so we have to give the best of ourselves. Now some hours have passed, it's time to start a period of reflection and analysis. Self-criticism will make us stronger," he added.

He played 26 games, starting 20 of them, but injuries kept him from playing on more occasions.

"This club and fans deserve a first division team and not this bittersweet taste this season has left."
