Fulham will reward midfielder Clint Dempsey with a new and improved deal this week.

The US international has been offered a four-year deal believed to be worth £35,000 a week ($US57,800).

The 26-year old was brilliant for the Cottagers last term and manager Roy Hodgson is keen to secure him until at least 2013, especially after Everton made a bid for him in the off season.
