Queensland Roar midfielder Massimo Murdocca hopes the club does not let young striker Tahj Minniecon go anywhere. The Young Socceroos star is out of contract at the end of the current season and has been linked with new A-League franchise North Queensland Fury, but Murdocca wants to club to act now to secure his services for the future.
"You can't deny he's been fantastic," Murdocca said.
"He's been very exciting and quite dangerous for us.
"I think it would be silly of the club to let him go.
"But at the end of the day there's lots of things that happened behind closed doors and no one knows the full story.
"I guess we've just got to hope that the Queensland Roar will keep him here.
"You couldn't even tell he's sorting out his contract, which can be a troublesome time for a lot of players," he added.
"That's good to see in a young person like Tahj and he's got a lot of maturity which is another reason why it would be great to keep him at the club."
