Crystal Palace defender Damien Delaney was proud of the manner of victory over Burnley.

Delaney says he and his Crystal Palace team-mates didn't panic after finding themselves two goals down early on at Burnley on Saturday.

"It was a bit weird really," Delaney told the Croydon Advertiser.

"I was looking around to see what has happened at 2-0. But we didn't panic because we still had another 75 minutes or so to put it right.

"If we were 2-0 down in the second half we would have probably been dead and buried. That's the only plus side we had in that situation.

"This team never gives in as we've seen over the last few years."
