Juventus great Alessandro del Piero feels Dusan Vlahovic will give the team a new energy.

The former Fiorentina striker joined Juve last week in a €75m move.

Del Piero said: "Juve often in recent years has accustomed us to dominating games and to suffer counterattacks, but lately we have seen the opposite.

"Vlahovic will now give them a different depth, he has incredible skills and will fight on every ball, he has more ability to cover the ball than (Alvaro) Morata and this will give breath to the team.

"If he keeps what he did with Fiorentina he will guarantee many goals. (Max) Allegri has found the balance in the first round, now he will create others. And then there will be a lot of enthusiasm. They have a serious chance of going to the Champions League."
