Luigi del Neri has left Chievo Verona.
Del Neri had pledged to stay on "if the club wanted" even after the 2-0 loss to Catania last weekend sent them down.
"We have decided not to continue together," announced director of sport Giovanni Sartori. "We were unable to wash away the doubts that both us and he had."
